Welcome to 187th The Rakkasans. We are a Day of Defeat Clan named after the 187th Infantry Regiment, the only airborne regiment in the history of the US Army to fight in every war since the inception of airborne tactics. The 187th received the name of Rakkasans from the Japanese during the occupation, it literally means "Falling Down Umbrella"

We are a fairly new clan, almost two years old, but have already seen some major growth in the short time we have been around. The head of our Clan is General Reaper and our second in command is General Norton. We take our ranking structure from the Army with the highest rank of General of the Army. Some ideals that we try to promote at the 187th are Respect, Honesty, Unity & Integrity. We have a PG-13 rated server and do not allow the F-bomb, Racial or Sexual comments. It is our goal to provide a fun & competitive place for everyone to play. We are always recruiting so jump on the server, join our forums and get to know us.
